Red Seal Homes Launches New Smaller Single-Family Home Plan

Red Seal Homes Launches New Smaller Single-Family Home Plan.

Red Seal Homes has unveiled a smaller single-family home plan — the Chateaux, available in both ranch and two-story designs — at its Provenance community of single-family homes, duplexes and townhomes in the Northbrook area of Cook County, Ill.

“The Chateaux homes at Provenance offer the privacy of a single-family home yet a slightly smaller footprint that makes them ideal for young families moving up from an apartment or townhome, or empty nesters looking to rightsize,” said Brian Hoffman, an executive with Red Seal Homes. “Also, because they’re maintenance-free, Chateaux homes allow buyers to enjoy the advantages of single-family living without needing to spend unnecessary time on upkeep.”

Dirt vs. Inventory Homes

There’s no question that purchasing a newly constructed house is an exciting time. But if time is of the essence, consider buying a house out the builder’s inventory of finished but unsold homes.

Both to-be-built houses and inventory homes have their positives and negatives. As more workers telecommute, homebuilders take note.

On DailyHerald.comRed Seal Homes’ Brian Hoffman, third generation owner of Red Seal Homes, spoke about how an increasing number of Americans are choosing to work from their homes, at least part time, and many of those people are over 50.

Between 2005 and 2015, the number of U.S. workers who did at least 50 percent of their work either at home or at some location other than their office grew by 115 percent, according to the 2017 State of Telecommuting in the U.S. Employee Workforce report. Read more here.

Provenance has its first move-ins!

Recently, at ChicagoTribune.comRed Seal Homes celebrates first move-ins at Provenance, Brian Hoffman, third generation owner of Red Seal Homes, spoke about how the Provenance community’s first residents are moving into their new homes! Here’s an excerpt from the Tribune’s story:

“Our residents moving in at Provenance over the next several months perfectly illustrate how our range of housing styles and floor plans appeal to a really diverse cross section of buyers,” says Hoffman. “For example, our first residents to take occupancy are down-sizers who chose a single-family ranch home for this stage of their lives. But we’ve also sold a number of The Estates single-family homes to families at various stages, from those with young children up to households with high-school-age kids.” —Brian Hoffman
